Mum had the blue Dorcas tin for many years and it got a lot of use as people actually mended things in those days and didn't just throw everything away.

I can remember having Dorcas pins, many a pin was used out of the tin when making my clothes, and then my daughters clothes when she was little.

Mum had a pin tin like the Dorcas pale blue one, thanks for bringing back happy memories. Mum made hundred of dresses and dancing costumes with those pins.
