Phone Booths of tge 60s and 70s

Phone Booths of the 60s and 70s

Omg I am really reminiscing today .
I remember when there was no such thing as a mobile phone.

Not everyone had a landline....

Phone calls to other countries were sooo expensive.

A popular way to get news quickly was through a telegraph, I remember my grandmother getting a few if these but mostly bad news .

I remember spending hours in a phone booth and sitting up on the shelf.

I remember calling service difficulties I think 013 to get put through if I had no money and 1100.

What stories do you have to share .
