But what language were you tested in? We all know men and women speak different languagesSome years ago, out of curiosity, I took a hearing test at one of those shopping centre booth thingies. The results apparently showed that I have some loss of hearing in the higher frequency range.
I asked the lady what might that mean, and she said that I might have some difficulty hearing and understanding female voices.
I responded, quite seriously, why would that be a problem.
The look on the woman's face was PRICELESS!!!!!!
My wonderful wife found it hillarious.
Isn't that termed as 'selective deafness'?My husband doesn’t hear anything I say. There is a remote control sensor that closes of the auditory senses in the instance I open my mouth. The last thing he heard was 48 years ago when he was asked a question, and he answered I do!![]()
My dad used to say he only wore hearing aids so he could switch them off when mum “started.”Many years ago l only had a hearing aid in my right ear. When l was driving & my wife spoke to me l couldn't hear her. I have no excuse now because l wear an aid in both ears.
