Pensioner Christmas Bonus 2024​

Good morning!

The North Sydney Pensioner Christmas Bonus was recently brought to my attention so I wanted to share it with you all.

'Each year Council helps pensioners in our area with a small payment for Christmas. This year, payment will be made with a VISA gift card. Applications close Friday 29 November 2024.'

How good is that ! I'm sure if my council Canterbury Bankstown did it they would add it to your rates

Our council is more likely to ask for money than give any out. The new council here has just been voted in but some of the old councilors have got their seats back which is bad for the rest of us. Some years ago five councils were amalgamated and the result has been disastrous ever since because of the debts the new council inherited from the others with which it merged.

Perhaps it's their local Councillor who has surplus $ allocated at the end of the year to spend.
