Part-time work on full pension

Hi folks, just managed to get my Pension application through after at least 5 months hassle of paperwork. I was wondering whether I could look for part-time work or would that jeopardise my full pension?

Hello @tibor.

You came through the members introduce yourself.
We love hearing a little about new members eg hobbies ect.

Now for the answer to your question

single pensioner can earn $204 per fortnight before it affects the pension and a pensioner couple can earn up to $360 per fortnight, combined, before it affects the pension.

Hope that helps 🙂

Thanks, gee that's 8 hours per week. I don't know if anyone wants to employ someone for 1 day a week!
Anyway great advice 👌

Hi again Suzanna sorry, let me introduce myself. My wife and I just closed our long standing Photo shop after 33 years. This year was a stressful time. I was also hospitalised but have managed to survive multiple surgeries. Trying to get a couples Pension application on top of that was stressful however we have started to settle in to our new apartment in Port stevens oh BTW after surviving a household relocation and home renovations at the same time. I think I will finish up as its a little too much to take in. Regards Tibor
