Hmmm...Come to think of it, I wonder who pays in the long-run? Manufacturers? Shareholders? Stakeholders? Ummm...nope, it's the you and the me, the customers, that's who.

Please, please, please don't promote the manufacturers as the good guys. If they really were the good guys, they would have had all the "necessaries" in place to prevent such defects occurring in the first place.
