Ovaltine

When was the last time you had a mug of good old Ovaltine? That warm, malty aroma drifting through the house brings back memories of childhood: simple, cosy, and full of comfort. It came in that trusty tin (remember prying the lid off?) and somehow made everything feel right after a long day. It’s still around today, but here’s the real question: Does it taste the same as it did back then? Take a stroll down memory lane with us here!

We sometimes had Ovaltine but usually had Activite to have with our milk as a youngster.

There is now available a new type called Sleep Ovaltine for about $15 a tin.

Actually 3 varieties. My very finicky housebound sister requested some recently. She rejected the 1st tin because it said Sleep, and that's what she does a lot. I think it was purple. I found one in the original colour but I showed it to her from afar. No complaints received after 2 tins, so I think it tastes the same.
All 3 tins I found mentioned Sleep. I never read the label as a child, but it probably had Sleep in it.
