Outback Roads In The 60s
1963. The road between Charleville and Cunnamulla used to be a single lane track through the bush, with bulldust a foot deep in dry weather, and a black soil quagmire in the wet. The photo of my trusty old FC Holden parked on the road at the Wyandra turnoff can testify to that!
