Online shopping mishap leaves social media in hysterics — “It’s way too short!”
Online shopping seems to be the way of the future. Particularly thanks to COVID-19, many have swapped a trip to the shops for a scroll on their phone.
Most of the time, this isn't an issue. With online shopping the new norm, things usually arrive exactly as expected. However, there are exceptions. One woman has had an unfortunate online shopping mishap after the dress that she purchased didn't quite match her expectations.

TikTok user Alix was excited to receive the stunning ASOS mini dress with a wrap skirt she bought via the company's website for $170, saying that she would be wearing the dress for the New Year's Eve.
However, when the package arrived and she tried the party dress on, she ended up with an ill-fitting, revealing outfit that was far from what she expected.

Alix took to TikTok to share her experience, showing a comparison of what the dress looks like on a model versus what it actually looks like in reality.
The video, which has been viewed more than 279,000 times, shows Alix wearing the mini dress with the skirt exposing her bikini bottoms.
While Alix saw the humour of the unfortunate purchase, she said that will now read the reviews first before buying clothes online.
TikTok users offered her advice, with many saying that she should repurpose the "dress" into a blouse.
One user wrote: “Hear me out, add a cute pair of high waisted jeans or black fitted pants and a cute pair of heels - and this could work.”
“It’s now a top and you’re rocking it,” added another.
Others, who claimed to have bought the same dress, confirmed that the dress is indeed "very short, it fits like a large blouse and not a dress.”
“The wrap style skirt does not close and is quite short... it’s like if you move at all your entire lady parts are on display,” one person wrote.
Another chimed in: “Way too short for me. The slit opens at the worst spot. I’m not particularly tall either.”
ASOS has yet to give a comment regarding the incident. But in any case you wish to return an item you purchased from their online store, here's a link for the guide on how exactly to do it.
