Onion for your health

It is good for the cardiovascular system
Regular consumption of onions is beneficial and prevents the possible formation of blood clots. It protects against the risk of vessel obstruction and thrombosis.

Onions strengthen the bones
According to a study from the Medical University of South Carolina, bone density in women who ate onions once a day was 5% higher than those in women who ate only once a month, or less. Women who eat onions regularly could reduce the risk of a hip fracture by 20% compared to those who never eat them.

It helps children grow up well
The onion participates in the healthy development of the fetus during the first weeks of pregnancy as well as in the growth of children thanks to its high content of folic acid.

Onion reduces high blood pressure
A study from the University of Utah published in 2007 also showed that quercetin reduced high blood pressure. Regular consumption would consequently decrease diastolic and systolic pressures. The heart working less, it would undergo less stress.

It prevents anemia
In addition to all the other antioxidants, onions provide us with phosphorus, iron and vitamin E. This helps to regenerate red blood cells.

It can relieve earaches
To take advantage of its anti-inflammatory and anti-viral benefits, take a piece of the heart of the onion, heat it for 30 seconds in the microwave, then place it in your ear (do not push it in) for 10 minutes.
