On-air nudie run GONE WRONG - Today Show viewers are given an early morning eyeful
You’re drinking your first coffee of the day, barely awake and suddenly there’s something on your TV screen that you never expected to see - let alone at 9 am.
The Today Show is no stranger to risque stunts. Earlier this year host Karl Stefanovic stripped on-air in what was likely an attempt to increase views. Whether you love or hate these stunts, it’s the unexpected mistakes that can make for the funniest moments.
This morning, an already cheeky segment advertising a good cause, Strip Off For Skin Cancer, went wrong when the show failed to cut camera footage before viewers copped an eyeful.
Allison Langdon and her fill-in co-host David Campbell were interviewing Jimmy Niggles from the charity when the stunt occured.

The charity representatives donned budgie smugglers (and not much else), with Jimmy only covered by a small sign reading 'Strip Off For Skin Cancer.'
Standing by the beach, many passersby and locals can be seen walking past in the background.
At the end of their presentation, the charity representatives took off towards the water with viewers subjected to Jimmy's bare rear.
‘Oh, those poor people walking their baby,’ David laughed as the guests ran towards the beach.
But that’s not where it ends. No, the nude runner then turns around, barely covering his ‘family jewels’ for the early morning television show.
The Today Show hosts back at the studio were stunned, to say the least. Two employees (including Allison) struggled to contain their laughter and were left speechless and giggling.
David managed to keep his composure. ‘That was for a good cause.’
Then adding, ‘He ran straight for that family too which is a shame.’
We’re not sure how that family will manage to explain their eventful morning!
So what is Strip Off For Skin Cancer anyway?

‘The idea is to show some skin to save some skin,’ says Founder and CEO Scott Maggs, ‘turning something you do when you normally get a skin check, into something that can help other Aussies get checked too’.
This program will only ramp up further in the coming weeks as National Skin Cancer Action Week (Nov 21 – 27) draws closer. You can expect to see a little more skin on your social media feed than usual.
Strip Off For Skin Cancer is a great cause that aims to raise $250,000 alongside a $150,000 grant awarded to their research partners at the University of South Australia. This would pave the way for a national program aimed at awareness, prevention and a cure.
