Old Fashioned Lamb Chops in Oven

This recipe takes me back in time to when I was small.
It is full of flavour and melts in your mouth goodness.

It only takes a few minutes throwing everything into a
baking dish, then let your oven do all the hard work for you.
You can use any
type of lamb chop in this recipe Lamb grillers, leg or loin chops

Ingredients:

4 to 8 lamb chops
1 cup water or beef stock
¼ cup plain flour
¼ cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp malt vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp curry powder
½ tsp mustard powder
2 teaspoons worstershire sauce

Method:

• Preheat oven to 170°C or 150 °C fan forced
• Place chops in a casserole dish.
• Place the remaining ingredients in a jug and mix to combine, then pour
over the chops.
• Cover with foil and bake for 2½ hours, turning the chops occasionally.
• Goes well served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 2½ hours
