Oil of Ulan

Who here remembers the iconic beauty product, Oil of Ulan? Just thinking about the scent brings back memories of hugs from grandma and cheek kisses from mum. It was known as Oil of Ulay in the UK, and Oil of Olaz in other European countries. In 1999, it became known as just Olay. The texture of the Oil of Ulan was like cool water on the skin - light, refreshing, and incredibly hydrating. The scent was unique and exotic but not simpering and always felt like a luxurious treat for the skin. It’s a scent that transports us back to simpler days and reminds us of the importance of self-care. Do you use this product? Or maybe you remember your mother or grandmother using it?

When I was a child this product was marketed as containing real turtle oil.
I'd forgotten about that until now.
I used it as an adult, when all turtle references had been removed.

I still use Oil of Ulan (olay) although the shape of the bottle has changed, it is something that I have been using since I was in my 20's I am now in my 60's

I loved this product and used it from when I was a teenager and then into my early twenties. It had a wonderful soft texture and lovely fragrance. A great product before moisturisers became so complex.

I have used Oil of Ulan from the time I was a teenager until now at the age of 78. I have always found it to be light and non Creasy, and the effect has left my skin feeling nurished and a perfect base for makeup. I have had varied products given to me, but nothing comes close to the Oil of Ulan. I also have delicate skin and can use this product regularly. There are quite a number of new products of this brand, I am sure everyone can find which one is best for their skin. The price is also
cost friendly.

Not only do I remember this product but I still use it daily. I am in my 60's and I have been using Olay since I can't remember when. I love everything about it. It's smoothness, scent and a little bit goes a long way. I still use Ponds Deep Cleanse to remove makeup, although this product is getting harder to find.

My beloved grandma always used Oil of Ulan, and always told me you are never too young to start caring for your skin. She had beautiful skin. So from a very young age I always used hers and still use Oil of Olay…not sure if it is in the genes or Oil of Olay, but I have very few wrinkles on my face…
