Which of the following modern day animals has the closest DNA to the Tyrannosaurus Rex?

a) Komodo Dragon.
b) Chicken.
c) Giraffe.
d) Frill Neck Lizard.

And the answer is b) the common farmyard chicken.

And, not a surprise, they confirmed a close relationship between mastodons and elephants. Fossil studies have long suggested modern birds were descended from T. rex, based in similarities in their skeletons.
