Ocean’s Eleven and Starsky & Hutch star passes away unexpectantly at 65

The entertainment world is mourning the loss of a versatile talent known for his imposing presence in the wrestling ring and on the silver screen.

The actor and former wrestler passed away at 65, leaving a legacy of memorable performances and a reputation for being a gentle giant.

Scott L. Schwartz's wife, Misty, confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter, stating that he died of congestive heart failure on 26 November at his home in Covington, Louisiana.

The news has sent ripples of shock and sadness through the entertainment community.

His most notable role was in the star-studded heist film Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels, where he played Bruiser, the lovable tough guy who famously 'roughs up' George Clooney's character.

Clooney has paid heartfelt tribute to Schwartz, saying, 'I’m sorry to hear that Scott is gone. We did three films together, and I’ve never been so gently punched. He was a gentle soul, and he will be dearly missed.'

Before his foray into acting, Schwartz was a professional wrestler, captivating audiences with larger-than-life personas such as Giant David, The Israeli Commando, and Igor the Giant.

His transition from the physicality of wrestling to the art of acting was seamless, showcasing his versatility and passion for entertainment.

Beyond his tough exterior, Schwartz was known for his warm heart and charitable spirit. His wife Misty reminisced about his off-screen life, saying:

'Most people associate Scott with the movies, but those who know him personally associated him with being a jolly person, so full of life, a strong, loving person, foodie and travel aficionado.'

She also highlighted his dedication to visiting children with cancer at children’s hospitals, showing a side of Schwartz that many of his fans might not have known.

Born in Philadelphia in 1959, Schwartz's acting career was prolific, with appearances in television shows such as Starsky & Hutch, Martin, Angel, The Mentalist, and The Young and the Restless, as well as films like Fun with Dick and Jane and Spider-Man.

He entertained audiences until his most recent role in the 2021 stoner comedy The Pizza Joint.

He is survived by his wife, Misty, and his children, Angela and Adam, who will continue his legacy.

No one wants to talk about “the elephant in the room” a certain jab that people had to have to keep their jobs a few years back is still causing all sorts of health issues including the heart? When are people going to wake up…just because they didn’t get their number called doesn’t mean that so very many did, and have since died and are still dying or seriously ill….you won’t hear this info on MSM though.. I wonder why???

To talk about it in this way is 'not believing in the Science' that the mainstream media peddled throughout those dark days.
If fact, Science says it must be questioned to improve Science. Funny that lots of Scientists and Medical practitioners were silenced.
There are also many hypochondriacs out there and that is according to Governments health website so go figure.

Didn’t anyone die of heart failure before COVID? Or was it that we just didn’t hear about it as much? Gotta wonder. (Drugs, alcohol, poor diet. All very common in Hollywood).

It makes you wonder how many of these deaths in younger people (65) may be attributed to their fitness regime. The Pursuit of the perfect body shape inevitably has long term consequences. The health fanatics and trainers often suggest "No Pain, No Gain" in fact inflicts long term damage. I wonder if it is this mentality which is sending so may high profile celebrities to an early grave.

It makes you wonder how many of these deaths in younger people (65) may be attributed partly to their fitness regime. The Pursuit of the perfect body shape inevitably has long term consequences. The health fanatics and trainers often suggest "No Pain, No Gain" when in-fact this regime may be inflicting long term damage. I wonder if it is this mentality which is sending so may high profile celebrities to an early grave. I know alcohol and drug use plays a significant roll also. Here is Australia there was one Olympic swimmer recently who began experiencing heart issues. Inevitably it ended her swimming career.

Very sad indeed, rest in peace...

SO many reports of this happening since the jab!

Check this guy out, he's on the ball with all his info, very knowledgeable!

Way too many deaths...

So many had to take this to keep their jobs, biggest scamdemic ever!

Yes, your assumptions correspond with my thoughts entirely.
It happens extremely & far much too often of extreme fitness fanatics falling off the perch with regularity for no reason.
As you suggest, nothing but heart exertion.

NOVEZAR.
