Who did Andy work for and what did he do?...memory starting to fade somewhat concerning names of blokes back then...if you can tell me who he worked for it may bring back memories?...I worked for a large company with projects all over the south Island...I was based at Otematata (Benmore) for a while and as I was a young single guy at the time I was sent all over the south island whenever a relief operator was required...Benmore, Aviemore, Omarama, Waimate, Buller Gorge, kilmog, Haast Hwy, Hillend and so on...Cheers. Natalie.

SHE LIVES IN NEW PLYMOUTH. booked tickets, not cheap leave 18th dec back 10th jan to brisbane. i am not a fan of the north but i want to go over to napier hastings for a look, i was there in the 60's. yikes!!!!!
Napier and Hastings are great places. There seems a lot of confusion on this thread about who lives` where. I live in Australia now, but born and bred in Auckland, lived in the far North, Some Family in NZ, some in Australia. But have travelled extensively in both North and South Islands, and also over here. Still call NZ, HOME.
