Now I Remember.

Realized I had to use the bathroom.
Got up and walked across the house to the pantry.
Couldn't remember why I was in the pantry.
Remembered I had to use the bathroom.
Walked across the house to the bathroom.
Sitting on the throne, I remembered why I went to the pantry.

Toilet paper!

It pays to write down what you want before going to any other room.

Don't get it.

You would need toilet paper in a toilet not in a bathroom

Now that's funny but true
Oh dear Dougal! Some houses have the toilet in the bathroom, eg ensuites. Though unsure why you would keep toilet paper in the pantry.
Hypothetical where you keep your toilet paper it's still funny

American joke. They say “I have to use the bathroom”. It would be considered crass to use the word toilet. Even the old outside dunny is called the “outhouse”.

The correct English term is lavatory. ;)
No ! conveniences all the older ones that you had to descend underground on London streets were Ladies and Genlemens conveniences.Later became toilets ,some became rest rooms,we never said lavatory it was either toilet or lav. for short. Every venue had it's own name for it. After the war and the Americans left any name was used and ended up with a few unusual names to boot

Around here it's always a Loo but have also heard it called the Little Boys or Little Girls room, the boys still call it the dunny especially when they've been drinking (although later on in the night they say "Where's yer lemon tree, I need a snakes") . In case anyone needs an explanation, urine was supposed to make lemon trees produce better fruit so if men didn't want to go inside to the loo, they were encouraged to water the lemon tree. As for Snakes - it is abbreviated rhyming slang - snakes hiss need a p**s.
