That would have been wonderful. Glad they were treated like your family. They deserve it. Really they make our day everyday. Really special ❤️😍
My Laura would have loved that. She was an animal person. She picked up stray and injured animals all the time. When she came to my place she would bring these animals with her. She brought lambs that still needed bottle feeding. She brought a lamb. She picked up. Was not unusual for all these different animals with her cause she didn't want to leave them home alone. You'd be surprised at what she brought with her, feref, ducks or their newly hatched young ones, she picked up a baby swallow and a sparrow and was feeding it worms. The other girls sometimes got mad at her for bringing these animals to my place. She had a sheep she used to take it to bed. She sent money to the wild life animals not just once she had this money coming out of her wages monthly. I had to ring them and tell them Laura had passed and was no longer able to donate to their cause to help these animals again. She was a great person with all these animals she helped. Loved her ways of helping these animals, she was a really great person.💔😍😇

She made a difference to several people who'll be thanking her for the rest of their life, especially when celebrating the birthdays they thought would not happen. Please take comfort in that.
I do because other people are alive because of her, she would have loved to know others are alive because of her. All my girls were animal lovers. They bought a horse between them. I went to bed but woke to the sound of hoofs walking through the house, went to see what was going on and found they had brought this horse into their bedroom explanation was that this horse was lonely in the backyard by itself and was happy to be in their bedroom and had their company and was warmer inside instead of being alone and in the rain.i was shocked to see they had brought this horse up the stairs to their room. But do love the knowledge of how far they would go for their animals.

Seeing my youngest granddaughter come out excitedly to see what Santa had left to only find A POTATO. No presents. She just sat sadly looking at the beautifully decorated tree until her older siblings came out, They were past Santa so decided to hunt for their gifts. Little one joined them and the delight when they found them was a joy to see. The ploy also had the three of them all opening and enjoying their presents together.

i remember my last christmas with my mother. we did not expect it to be her last. it was at her place. i decided to do something different with the table. i decorated each place setting as if they were a snowman. i brought all the items from home, she had no idea that i was going to do this. it was a great little thing to do for her. and it ended up being one of the last photos of her with all of us.

Omg I am so sorry 😞 I could not even comprehend what you have gone through. We have had a suicide in our family , a cousin who was more like hubby's brother.
The amount of different emotions are horrible.

If you ever need someone to talk to I'm hear as are alot of caring people on here.
Just private message me
Thank you Suzanne Rose. In my house I have a lot to rember about her. She bought me 2 houseplant that are doing well and my case manager has said these plants are the best she has seen. Said people have trouble getting them to live. She said these plants were doing great and she has never seen these plants doing so great. Thanks to Laura it is more she has bought me. ❤️

Thank you Suzanne Rose. It is wonderful that I am able to talk about her here but I think sometimes I must be boring to everyone. It is the only place I can talk about her. Loved her very much, and still do

😳omg these stories are getting funnier by the minute.🤣🤣🤣🤣love it
I'm glad that we can bring a smile to your face, though I think it is more than a smile. Love to see you enjoying it Littleboy 8. It's wonderful we can all enjoy the little bit of humour. Take care and good luck with everything you are doing. ❤️😍😘

just waking up will do me fine. this year I am in NZ,
Yes I think we would all love that. Just waking up, but then to see all the joy that your family and friends will have. And it is great to be able to spend your time with them. Enjoy it and I hope it also brings you lots of joy to be with them. ❤️😍
I had 7 girls and 2 boys. My boys had Cystic Fibrosis so they passed away quite early and a daughter hung herself in July this year. 💔💔💔🥰
Oh! Nearly forgot. I had 3 husbands and no I didn't kill them. 1st husband died of Emphasemia 2nd died of a heart attach and 3rd died of cancer. I'm not the black widow. My last passed away in 2000. Alone since then. I live alone with my menagerie of dearly loved pets who all show their love and jealousy of each other yet they all get along fabulous with each other, the dog, mother cat and her kitten along with my rainbow lorikeet. The bird is only locked in his cage at night but during the day they are all out together. Bird runs up and down under the doona, kitten chases this thing under the doona and pouches on it. Bird gives a Yelp and comes running out and chased the kittens feet until he chases him off the bed. It's so funny to watch. Give the cats a treat they love but you will find the birds enjoying the treat along with the cats bird also takes the food out of the dogs mouth and gets away with it. Dog just lets him have it ♥️🥰

Beautiful listening to the rain on a tin roof. Sounds like a bit of fun there.❤️

Can just imagine the mess it made. Myself I am known for putting eggs on to cook for a salad and have forgotten them till they have exploded in a dry pot and have made a ruddy mess all over the kitchen. Weren't game to go in there till all the eggs had exploded. But that's me. 😂
We were frightened of getting blasted from one of these eggs that had not explode yet. Salad without our boiled eggs. Ruined that salad but couldn't wait for the next one with someone else volunteering to cook the eggs not me.of course everytime we had a salad and the exploding eggs was forgotten and I was given the job of cooking the eggs again it was ok till the eggs exploded again. Don't know why they didn't trust me again 😰😤🥶

I had always longed to experience the German Christmas markets. In 2003, my fairytale dream came true. We travelled from Dover, crossed on the ferry to Calais, then headed through Belgium to Rudesheim on the Rhine. We were thrilled to find that this quaint, historic town was surrounded on 3 sides by the Rudesheim Market of Nations. We had only to walk outside our hotel and we were in the middle of the market. It was the most delightful market, full of stars and angels of all shapes and colours, stalls featuring Christmas traditions from many different cultures, glittering lights and candles and the fragrance of hot mulled wine, freshly baked gingerbread and roasting bratwurst sausages. The stalls offered beautiful handmade ornaments of wood and blown glass and wine grown on the hillsides above the town. . I bought a glass vase from the man who had just made it. The air was clear and crisp, full of promise of a coming snowfall. 1730693845081.pngScan_20240220 (2).png The air was filled with beautiful Christmas carols and the happy chatter of joyful people. What I loved best were the nativity scenes with real people and real animals. John even had a chat with one of the donkeys. It was a magical experience and one I will treasure always

My mum always made half a dozen Christmas puddings with three pence’s in them. These she would “ hang” these puddingsunder the old dining table to wait for them to mature for Christmas Day, after their first boiling. Was quite embarrassing when every one of those puddings presented was just a shell. We had lots of rats that year

A wonder the rats didn't choke on the threepences. They couldn't chew them could they🌦️🐭🐀🐁

Didn't happen in my house. I was the eldest of 8 children at the time and my dad worked for the board of works and the pay was not very good. My parents could not afford to buy presents for us. Mum did make sure we got a small present at least. We were happy with what we got but we were unhappy when we went to play with friends and saw all the presents they got. But we did at least get something and it did make us happy. 😇
I hope you win this completion, if by a miracle I win I will give it to you.

You really deserve this win
