Nostalgia alert! This beloved 1980s toy is making a comeback – get it before it's gone forever!

For anyone who grew up in the 1980s or has fond memories of the decade, we have some amazing news that's sure to send you on a trip down memory lane!

So, get your nostalgia goggles on and set your alarms, because a beloved childhood toy is making a comeback – and it could be yours again very soon.

Get ready to relive the 80s all over again, because ALDI has some amazing news for their shoppers!

Starting today, the retail giant is stocking its shelves with Cabbage Patch Dolls that were all the rage back in the 80s. We're sure you remember just how popular these dolls were. Each Cabbage Patch Doll is prized for being unique since they each come with their own birth certificates or adoption papers – which only adds to their charm.

In fact, the dolls were so coveted that they even sparked riots in the United States during Black Friday sales back in 1983.

Decades later, people are still crazy about them – second-hand dolls still in good condition have been known to sell for thousands online!

But if Cabbage Patch Dolls aren't really your thing (or if you already have a whole collection of them), then you might be interested in another nostalgic toy that’s also on offer this week: Pound Puppies!

Pound Puppies were hugely popular when they first came out in the 1980s as well. Kids loved playing with them and begged their parents to 'save them from the pound’.

These stuffed animals come packaged in 'rescue boxes', and they also have their own adoption certificates, sticker sheets, and name tags so you can write in the name of your new huggable pup!

We think it’s great that the supermarket giant is letting Australian’s relive their childhoods – and introducing these toys to the new generation. What a great bonding opportunity.

Not only that, but other retro toys will also go on sale this week! According to ALDI’s Special Buys, toys such as Anne Geddes Dolls, DieCast Model Cars, Retro Wooden Harmonica Sets, 500-Piece Puzzles, My Little Ponies, and Rubik’s Cubes will also be available in stores!

You guys can have mine; I don't want one. Best left in the cabbage patch to scare off birds

Cabbage Patch dolls were ugly then and they're still ugly. Why any child would want one of these is beyond me but there's no accounting for taste!!;)
I was going to say exactly the same thing.
Can remember my granddaughter getting one for Xmas and thinking it was the ugliest doll I had ever seen.
Still she thought it was just wonderful.

My daughter had a cabbage patch doll with red hair named Valerie Susan, she hated it and today at 45 she still absolutely hate cabbage patch dolls.
I still have hers somewhere in the attic.
I'm now going to have to message her.

My others daughters had pound puppies ,now they were cute
