No More Flies and Mozzies

Every 3 to 4 months I make up a solution of 150 mls each of David Grays Termite Spray, Seasol and Wetta Soil. Mix with 3 litres water and spray all your outdoor area pavers and I even spray the fly wire outside doors from the inside to outside and walls surrounding the doors. No insects in the house or around your personal outdoor space! I hate the flies in summer! More than the mozzies!

I'm willing to give it a try. Not so much for the flies and Mozzies (although they can be annoying), but more so for midgies (or sandflies). Does it also work for them? Googled the ingredients and looks like you can get them all from Bunnings.

Yes we have a stagnant pond in the park opposite and it certainly helps. Yes I get from Bunnings. Let me know if it helps. Have been using it for years! It was issued by a council to combat the Ross River Virus epidemic they were experiencing in there Shire!

Ever tried a mint plant to keep flies at bay?
I often used a mint plant on the table, in a pot, to deter flies.
It's much stronger if you enhance the smell by crushing some leaves and planting mint nearby, if outside.
The more the better!
Works best with tables that do not have a heavy load of food, as this will outweigh the smell.
Great for tea and biscuits, playing cards, or just relaxing.
