Fast-food giant McDonald’s recently confirmed that it has removed its popular all-day breakfast menu from restaurants across Australia.

“From Wednesday, 20 October, our breakfast menu will be available until midday in restaurants and 10:30 AM via McDelivery, to better meet the needs of customers during other peak times,” a spokesperson from McDonald’s said in a statement.
“By adjusting our all-day breakfast schedule, we hope to reduce the amount of time our customers may need to wait for other items during the afternoon and evening rush.”
The McDonald’s spokesperson understood that customers might be “disappointed” by the unexpected news.
The only item on the breakfast menu that will still be available all day at Macca’s is hash browns.
“Fan favourites, hash browns, will still be available to order all day.”
“While we understand a number of customers will be disappointed, our breakfast menu will continue to be available in the restaurant until midday every day and via McDelivery until 10:30 AM.”

Several fans of the store’s breakfast menu were obviously ‘not happy’ with the decision.
“When did you very quietly drop the all-day breakfast menu? Not everybody wants burgers when they eat, and I would frequently have a bacon and egg meal as a lunch or dinner option,” said one, then added, “you’re losing a customer here.”
Another frustrated customer added, “Why have you stopped all-day breakfast? Without any notice either!”
One even joked that the unannounced menu change was “the worst thing since COVID-19”.
“To my disgust, the all-day breakfast menu has been violated! This is the next worst thing since COVID-19!”
