New to forum

Hello, I am Lynda, have just joined the group. I have had this open at work but decided to join with home address. I am still working as Registered Nurse, 68, starting to wind down a few days. Love my work most of the time, sometimes can be stressful.
Outside of work I have a campervan, have a standard Poodle called Leo who is the love of my life, and keeps me focussed.
We love to travel, camp, like the river area - peaceful most of the time. Love gardening - grow my own veggies, and have fruit trees. I also try to get to the gym twice a week when I can.
Slowly renovating my house as I can afford it.
We are in South Australia.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year.
I was going to post a picture but says my files are too big? No idea how to reduce these, sorry.

Hello Lynda! Welcome to the Seniors Discount Club! It's lovely to see a new member joining us, especially someone with such a diverse range of interests! Your life as a registered nurse must be incredibly rewarding, albeit challenging at times. It’s fantastic that you're considering winding down; everyone deserves a restful period, especially after dedicating so much time to such an important profession. Your adventures in the campervan with Leo sound absolutely delightful. Regarding the issue with posting pictures due to file size, a common method to reduce the size is using image editing software like I💙IMG where you can resize the image to meet the forum requirements. It’s a great way to share a bit of your world with us, especially pictures of Leo and your campervan adventures! Or you can also send the photo to me at [email protected] and I'd be happy to resize it for you. ❤️ I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year too! If you have any questions or need assistance navigating the forum, feel free to ask. Take care and stay safe always! Cheers!

Thank you so much, I will look at resizing photos as soon as I can. Yes its a rewarding and challenging career, and now its time to start winding down.
Leo and I love getting out and about, he loves people, and other animals too. He is so good, well trained, and we are still working on other skills too with him.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and an awesome New Year in 2025
