New Telstra Scam which is very convincing

This had me wondering if it's true or a well organise scam. I wasn't sure so I went to Telstra and as soon as they looked at it they said scam. As you can see the email address looks like it's from Telstra but when you click the link the 2nd image comes up https://webmail-telstra-support-8927.typedream.app/ . It was this Typedream that made me wonder. I didn't go any further than this. I got 3 of these emails within 10 minutes

Stay safe

Not the least bit convincing!
If you fall for it then once again you are a fool!

I get these emails often and have since June. I report and block them but they keep coming!

Your usual tedious reply @BruceC.

Can’t you see the positive that @Iggydi has taken the time to post a warning?

I receive these emails every month when I get my bill or when I pay it. Have reported and double delete it but they don't give up. They don't have my name on it like Telstra.

If I get any email from Telstra, it is a porky.

If you think I owe you money, you can whistle dixie, double four time.

I have not had dealings with Telstra since May 2007.

Because I am with Telstra I thought it was real because the email address on top looks like it was from Telstra when I checked the other address it was different so that is why I went to Telstra
I can usually spot a scam but this one had me wondering. So if you don’t have a Telstra account then you know it’s a scam

Calling someone a fool is rather cruel. A lot of elderly are trying to manoeuvre through the IT maze. Some get it some don’t. So far I,ve been ahead of them but with what the future holds who knows. One day even you might be foolish.

There always ‘must’ be one that bucks the system, so to speak, and thinks he knows everything and is always right. It’s a shame that so many are being scammed but thank you to those that warn us with what they receive because that keeps us safe; perhaps one particular person has been lucky up to now - his time will come!! No one, NOT ONE OF US, in this world, is perfect and not one of us can say we have never been duped out of a dollar or perhaps thousands of dollars or any property.

That was because it's a screenshot and I couldn't remove it. Also I don't use that one very often and check it whenever

Your time WILL come - not maybe, but WILL - one day soon. When you get caught, please let us know on this site so we can berate you for being foolish too.

So don’t be so rude and judgemental of others, because most try to get one jump ahead of the scammers but that is not easy for the elderly and others who have had little to do with a computer, mobile phone or technology in the past in general. Technology is advancing so very fast that even those who have some knowledge are finding it very hard to keep up - with the scammers. Sometimes too much knowledge can be a bad thing.
