I have been receiving these emails fairly regularly just recently and have not responded to them. I did go to MyGov site directly to check if there was anything that I should need to read but there was nothing therefore I have reported the offending emails as fishing and just hope they cease as they are b+++dy annoying.

Have a look at the words in the link. Can you see anything like "gov.au"? Well, it's time you learned.
Thankyou for the reminder. Fortunately I am observant so have never been scammed. I posted this for people to see how real these can look. Not everyone understands what to look for. This is often due to technology not being part of their general lives until they have become older.

No worries, except if you do get scammed ...

My husband received a text this morning about his road tolls, so they are back again. I know the original scammers behind this were arrested so I assume someone else has decided to give it a go. No use sending them to Tasmanians, we don’t have tolls.

Never click on any links. I received an email, supposedly from the Australia Government. It stated some ridiculous things, about payments being suspended if I didn't press the link and report whatever. It was suppose to connect me to My Gov. Beware it is just a scam. There was some woman's name on the email URL.
