I am a young 70 ;) Used to be a bookkeeper amongst a few other past careers. My hubby and I love to travel, while we are healthy enough. I can’t wait to make the most out of the discounts offered. Thank you for the welcome.

Hello Englady. Welcome. Are we to guess where you originate from? I came from England in 1953. Great decision. Travel has been a major part of life but sadly time has caught up with us and we sold our motorhome just a month ago.
This is a good club and I hope you enjoy being a member.

Hi, I was born in England in 1953 :) I lived in South Africa for 17years before moving to Australia 24 years ago. We have just sold our caravan and have seen a lot of the Australian outback. We are now cruising to see different parts of the world.

Hi, your mention of South Africa brought back memories. In 1974 my husband and I set out from Capetown on an overland trip through Africa. There were 18 of us travelling in a pink army truck, sleeping in tents, often getting lost and eating what was available. In those days getting across borders was often a challenge. It was a rough, fabulous, experience.
We've travelled extensively throughout Australia in our motorhome which we sold a few weeks ago. The years have caught up!
Where are you now? It sounds fabulous.

Must admit I miss SA but not such a great place these days.
Looking forward to our holiday on The Ghan in November. One off the bucket list including wine tour in Adelaide, a week in Darwin and then a five day tour around Alice Springs. Can’t wait!

We set off on 15th November. I will let you know when we get back.
Our intention is to enjoy our retirement as much as possible as we are both living our second life after we fell victim to cancer!
