Start by painting your keys with a base coat of white nail polish. Then, use a toothpick or bobby pin to create designs on the key. You can go for a simple striped look, or get creative with swirls and other patterns.

If you want to get really fancy, you can try the marbling technique. To do this, add a few drops of nail polish into a glass of room temperature water.

Then, layer different drops of your favourite nail polish in the water, and swirl the colour around with a toothpick.

Finally, hook a bobby pin through the top hole of the white-painted key and slowly submerge the key into the layers of nail polish. Set aside and let dry.

Not only will your keys look great, but you'll also be able to find the right one more easily.

We mean, there can be too many keys jingling around and getting tangled up...it can get quite frustrating to arrange them again and again.

So, how can we go about this issue?

Well, YouTube content creator Chance Young has come up with a solution – a DIY leather key holder that keeps things organised and looking sharp.

Crafting this organiser is also simple: the first step is to get a piece of leather. Chance noted that you can make a template out of card stock paper that is 14 cm by 2.5 cm, and then trace it onto the leather.

Next, he cut it out with an Exacto knife and a ruler to help him get straight edges. He used an edge beveler to help clean up the edges and mark the hole for the key on both sides.

Then, he used a leather hole punch to punch the holes.

Once the holes were punched, he rubbed leather balm on the edges. He then got a connector bolt, a D-ring, and some washers from the local hardware store.

Chance used clear epoxy to glue the washer to the leather on both ends, to ensure that as he opened the key holder the keys wouldn't loosen the connector bolt.

To finish things off, he used two pairs of pliers to bend a washer so that it would act as a spring. This would help keep the bolt tight and the keys in place.

And there you have it – a stylish and functional key holder that will keep your keys from driving you crazy!

I have a lanyard on each bag and on locking car clip keys onto the lanyard, never lost inside or outside bag, easy to find on returning to vehicle. At home have a hook for keys, always keep them on it ( not in an obvious place but handy for me)
