Nattural herbal ways to deal with headaches
Nearly one in two people over the age of 15 are subject to headaches. If these are most often one-off and of short duration, it also happens that they last for many hours and become unbearable for the subjects who are affected by them. Here are 5 natural remedies that will help you put an end to it.
1. Cloves and black tea
Prepare a strong black tea and add a few cloves that you have previously crushed. Theine will lower your blood pressure while the cloves will provide their anti-inflammatory properties, allowing the headache to fade quickly.
2. Fresh mint or mint tea
Make yourself a tea or boil some water and add fresh mint leaves. Then breathe in the steam that emerges; you can use a towel to help yourself.
3. Ginger infusion
In a cup, grate the equivalent of a teaspoon of fresh ginger then add boiling water. Wait 5 minutes, filter your drink then drink it. Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that was traditionally used to treat headaches in Asia.
4. A foot bath in hot water
Prepare a foot bath with hot water and relax for as long as necessary. The blood from the head will be returned to the feet, relieving the pressure exerted on the latter. You can also add a little mustard to the water if the pain is severe.
5. Eat almonds
For those with a sweet tooth, just eat 10 to 15 almonds. These contain salicin, an analgesic found in aspirin.
6. An infusion of thyme
Prepare yourself an infusion of fresh thyme and drink it.
