I loved watching Mr. Squiggle when I was really young! Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men was also a classic!

Mickey Mouse Club, Father Knows Best, and all the Shirley Temple movies. I loved watching her dance, I had the opportunity through U3A to learn when I was in my late 50’s it was such great fun and kept me fit. We danced for lots of elderly groups, I gave it away a few years ago, as did most of my group, now all in our 70’s and 80’s.

For me, nothing could surpass "The Adventures of Robin Hood" with the gorgeous Richard Greene. I have it now on DVD.

It was around '62 when we got our first set. We lived in Warrnambool and the only channel we could get was BTV6 in Ballarat, 120 mile away.
Reception was very dependent on the weather. The picture was often very snowy. To overcome some of the snow, we hung blue cellophane paper down over the screen. It was a big day for Warrnambool when they opened the channel 6 booster at Tower Hill a couple of years later.
I lived about halfway between Warrnambool and the BTV6 transmitter, we had somewhat better reception.
We got TV in 1963.
Favourite programs, DR Who, Robin Hood(Richard Greene), BTV6 Juniors, any of the cartoons, Footy replay when they started on ABC.
Pick-a-Box and then Tommy Hanlon (It could be you).
