My childhood nostalgia WENDOVER.​

My favourite memories are of holidays spending all day at the beach; playing in the park with your friends and the best of all at my sisters farm on bonfire night when neighbours from miles around would come to the huge bonfire for food ; songs around the pianola and lastly the lighting of the fire and letting off our crackers. Then of course the next morning racing to find any crackers that were dropped on the ground. Those were the carefree days.

Recall those days with warmth in my heart, as I also recall slipping in a couple pricked spuds, and trying to eat them once they were charcoaled and far too hot for us young lads to handle. This was in Hastings way back in the 50's and the60's! Days of Magic and wonder methinks!!
