Mushroom Stroganoff

I can't tell you what this dish taste like because I hate mushrooms but going by my family's reaction is that any one who likes mushrooms will definitely love this dish.

Ingredients​

  • 3 onions sliced
  • 1 garlic sliced
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs marsala or substitute with 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 750 g mushrooms
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 3 tbs sour cream
  • 500 g pasta


Method​

  1. Heat oil and butter in warmed frypan.
  2. Add onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add marsala and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add mushrooms, cook until soft, then add paprika and tomato paste.
  4. Cook pasta until al dente.
  5. Just before serving, fold through sour cream.
    Serve mushroom sauce over pasta
