Mum's DIY splashback 'hack' is so easy - anyone can do it!

In the past, splashbacks were all about function. They kept water, oil, heat, and splashes from getting on the walls behind countertops, ovens, and sinks.

Nowadays, their ability to add not only function but style as well is a key part of a well-designed kitchen.

So, if you're looking for splashback ideas that will spruce up your kitchen and add more life to your cooking space, look no further than Kmart because the retail store has plenty of options for you!

Anyone can now have a stunning kitchen space, even those of us who do not have experience in construction or who wish to skip the back-breaking labour – all thanks to Kmart's recently released DIY Decorator range which features products that are not only appealing to the eye but are also of high-quality and friendly to one's wallet.

People who have bought and decided to try the products have been sharing their amazing DIY projects on social media sites like Facebook and TikTok.

On the popular Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group, one member showed off her kitchen makeover. After she covered the glass splashback in her kitchen with Kmart's 5-pack self-adhesive 3D tiles, the entire space was given a more modern and upscale appearance.

'Gave my kitchen a little glow up using Kmart 3D tiles!' she wrote, revealing that her husband measured and trimmed the tiles to make them fit in the kitchen.

Fellow members of the Facebook group quickly flooded her post with comments, commending her for an 'amazing' DIY project.

'That's probably the best one I've seen,' one user went on to say. 'Well done!'

Another agreed and added, 'One of the best I have seen. Looks amazing!'

'Wow, what a transformation, love it!' said a third. 'How good are those tiles!'
