Mum makes a shockingly hilarious discovery in ALDI chicken drumsticks – ‘I would’ve p**d myself!’

Whenever we’re indulging in a delicious plate of roast chicken or beef for dinner, we’re subconsciously aware that what we’re consuming was once a live animal. But the majority of us would prefer to bury these thoughts deep inside our brains to be sure not to lose our appetite.

After all, no one wants to stand before the carcass of a cow before popping its leg in the oven or witness a cute little chicken being slaughtered. The less barbaric, the better!

So when a mum stumbled across a raw chicken claw in a bag of ALDI chicken drumsticks, her jaw dropped to the floor. However, upon closer inspection, she noticed something even more bizarre – the chicken’s nails looked a little too good for comfort.

On Saturday afternoon, Lou shared an image of her odd find to an ALDI Mums Facebook group with the caption: ‘No words.’ alongside disgusted and laughing emojis.

Hey there, good lookin’. Source: The New York Times

The photo showed a raw chicken claw, covered in scaly chicken skin, which is bad enough to warrant a mini heart attack. But what really stole the show was how its long nails seemed to be perfectly manicured. We bet you weren’t expecting to stare at pretty chicken nails today… You’re welcome.

Somebody needs to tell us which nail salon this chook went to! Source: news.com.au

The post amassed thousands of likes in the span of a few days – and of course, the people of the internet didn’t hold back on sharing their hilarious reactions and puns.

‘Look at the nails on it... Oh, honey do you have a boyfriend?’ one user teased.

‘That chook has nicer nails than me!’ another joked, while a third chimed: ‘What a beautiful manicure.’

And a few pointed out that their pet dogs would be thrilled to have the chicken feet, with one saying, ‘My dogs would be all over it!’

‘Oh, Lordy. I would have p**d myself from shock and laughter... I hope you're OK!’ a fourth said.

Another declared: ‘I can't un-see this! I’m never eating chicken again!’

‘Chase the kids around with it!’ one more cheekily suggested.

So, why did the chicken cross the road again? We definitely know the answer now… It was to get a manicure!

Do you agree that this chicken foot was a little disgusting or are some people being dramatic? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!

Can't remember when did I buy chickens with feet intact let alone with nail polish, if I am Aldi I will seek the supplier to clarify.

Does anyone know that the best collagen you can get, is from anything that most of people don’t eat? Like chicken feet, giblets, offal, pig feet, anything chewy!! Bone morrow, fish spines, etc…. That’s what it’s put in bone broth. Experts say that’s the best for the immune system!!
Have you wonder why some people have such a young looking skin, even when they get older??

Asians cook and eat them... I remember mum used to boil them for stock to make her chicken noodle soup and then the cats got them to eat...
