Mum’s horrifying find inside the packaging of a child’s toy alerts Aldi officials — “We immediately took it off sale”
An unsuspecting British mum's terrifying discovery inside the packaging of a child's toy on display at her local Aldi store has prompted her to alert store management.
Haleemah Patel, visited her local Aldi store at Blackburn for her regular grocery shopping when she stumbled upon a Blonde Tiny Tears Classic Doll and decided to purchase it for her daughter.

However, when the 29-year-old mum picked up the box, she noticed that the outer packaging was damaged.
Piquing her curiosity was the metallic object at the back of the doll which she initially thought was part of the doll.
However, upon a close inspection, she realised that the object was actually a very real and very sharp knife!
“I had to look twice to make sure it was a genuine knife. I couldn't make sense why a knife would be part of a toy,” Haleemah told Lancs Live.
The mum revealed that she hurriedly informed a staff member and insisted that the toy get taken to the store manager.
Haleemah also called upon Aldi to investigate the matter, saying: "Sad if someone put that inside deliberately and could have gone home to a small child."
The mum also warned parents to always inspect their children's toys as hazardous items may be hidden in them.
”I would like to raise attention to parents out there to be vigilant when purchasing toys and check to the contents inside as this could possibly have been fatal if my daughter had picked the toy up,” she said.

An Aldi spokesperson assured the public that the incident is an isolated case.
Speaking to Lancs Live, the spokesperson said: "When Ms Patel noticed this Tiny Tears product had been tampered with, we immediately took it off sale."
"We can confirm that it is an isolated case where the packaging appears to have been deliberately tampered with."
"Our supplier has confirmed that the product passes through highly sensitive metal detectors before leaving their factory and the packaging could not have been compromised during the manufacturing process."
It is understood that the dolls are not yet available in Australia.

yet. I did google about this and couldn’t find anything but the doll being available here.
