Motel breakfast hatch​

Remember the days when motels had that breakfast hatch? You'd write down your order the night before, and then, come morning, your meal would appear through a little hatch. It was a clever invention, but sadly, it’s not as common today. What other old-school inventions do you think should make a comeback?

Never used these hatches as most opened with a full view into your room and they were big enough for a kid to crawl through and then unlock the main door.
