More Than Jewellery: How Belle Fever Offers Comfort in Moments of Grief and Remembrance

Jewellery holds a special significance in our lives. Beyond mere accessories, pieces of jewellery often carry memories, love, and grief. For the team at Belle Fever, a Sydney-based jewellery brand*, their creations have become so much more than fashion statements. They've transformed into beacons of solace and connection during their customers' most challenging times.

Founded on Valentine's Day in 2012 by Sarah Saputra and her supportive husband, Belle Fever* was started with a mission to create affordable and long-lasting jewellery. Sarah was inspired by her own struggles with expensive jewellery that would easily tarnish.

She dreamed of quality pieces that could be passed down for generations. The brand's name lovingly honours their daughter, Isabella, encapsulating the care poured into each original design.

Over the years, Sarah and her team have been deeply moved by the stories of their customers. Many have shared the profound impact Belle Fever's personalised memorial jewellery* has had during difficult moments of their lives.

One touching account comes from a mother who suffered the heartbreak of a stillbirth. Clinging to her hospital band, she found solace in a crafted bracelet from Belle Fever*, allowing her to carry a reminder of her baby wherever she went. For this grieving mother, the piece provided a gentle, tangible connection to the child she lost.

In another emotional narrative, a daughter explained how her ill mother cherished one of Belle Fever's necklaces*, choosing to be laid to rest wearing it as a symbol of the love she held for her grandchildren.

These are far more than just testimonials. They are testaments to the meaningful role jewellery can play in grief, remembrance and healing after loss*.

Sarah says, 'While our initial goal was to craft unique style pieces, we've unexpectedly but gratefully uncovered a niche where our jewellery transcends aesthetics. For many, it offers comfort, serving as a tangible connection to cherished memories and departed loved ones*.'

Belle Fever’s range of memorial jewellery* includes cremation necklaces which have a small canister* for some of a loved one’s ashes*, photo necklaces* and engravings for jewellery or urns*.

Even in their grief, customers have returned to thank Sarah and her team.

My Grandchildren all have one of Belle Fevers necklaces with my late husband's ashes, they also have a cushion with a verse, letting them know he is always close to their heart when they are missing him. His greatgrandson has a train with his ashes as Ga was a Train Driver.

Why does everyone forget what Christmas is all about? Its not about silly presents and stupid christmas parties in your advent? Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day. He did not run around buying presents to make the rich shops richer and have parties in Advent prior to his Birth?
Glad we do not celebrate your Christmas or have parties prior to the Birth of Jesus Christ!!
