Money Shot​

Just two days ago was our 20th wedding anniversary, and we'd arranged a private whale-watching trip off the Gold Coast. Only us, plus the skipper and his wife. Whales and dolphins were frolicking all about us. We all got this shot, but I posted only the best one, not by me but by the skipper's wife.

My shot was taken after the dolphin hit the water because I was mesmerised by the sight of the dolphin high above the whale's head!

Even this shot only captures the dolphin on the way down again.

My shot was taken after the dolphin hit the water because I was so mesmerized by the initial sight of the dolphin high above the whale's head!
Even this shot only captures the dolphin on the way down again.

Oh my goodness! This is SUCH a mesmerising shot, I'm speechless.

Yes. But this shot was taken when they were both coming down. The coolest thing was when the whale was almost out of the water and the dolphin very high above its head. I couldn't believe my eyes!!
