It's the age old story isn't it. When you actually live and work in an area, you never take the time to visit the various sites. I've done the same at each place I've lived. Had to go back as a tourist later.

Atherton is up on the tableland from Cairns. I don't live there but I have seen the waterfall a couple of times in our travels,
