60 years ago I was a member of a cycling club in the UK and due to the exercise the sport gave me a pair of very muscular legs and one day a clubmate suggested that my legs were like tree trunks and he then christened me 'Oaklegs'.

I was told a story as a child about a pregnant woman who read a sign and decided to call her child by that name - nosmo. In reality part of the sign was obscured. It really read no smoking.

Deni is my nic name, my real name is Dawn.
When I first got on the net in 1999 I didn't want to use my real name so somehow I came up with Deni and have stuck with it ever since!

The problem is I forget that I am not 5ft {oh the dream I still carry around}. One of my brothers introduce me to his friends as the "family gnome".

My grandmother and my husbands grandmother both stood 4 foot and 11 3/4 inches tall and that 3/4 inches was precious to both of them.

I was born 57 and hubby 58 and been married 44 years as of January and lived together for nearly 3 years prior to that and for 6 weeks each year (there is exactly 6 weeks between our birthdays and hence 2 year age difference) he will call me a cradle snatcher and I call him my toy boy.

I was born in 59' and my partner was born in 68'.
My mother was even better, she was 20 years older than my stepdad who was only 4 years older than my oldest brother in Australia. I have another brother in England who was 4 years older than my stepdad lol
