McDonald's is bringing back popular menu items for a limited time!

For Macca’s fans across Australia, the wait is finally over!

In a bid to ‘surprise’ customers, the popular fast-food chain has just announced the re-release of two highly-requested menu items along with a new twist on a popular burger.

We all know that McDonald's isn't exactly the healthiest place to eat. But sometimes, we just can't resist! So, if you’re craving McDonald’s anytime this week, be sure to check out the Cajun Chicken Deluxe!

Starting November 30, the fast-food outlet will once again be selling the popular food item with a twist.

This time it will come with the addition of McDonald's limited-edition spicy sauce – something that fans have been requesting for a while now.

The Cajun Chicken Deluxe includes 100% Australian RSPCA Approved crispy chicken fillet, tangy Cajun sauce, cheese, fresh tomatoes, and crispy lettuce served on a sesame seed bun. It already sounds delicious and we bet it tastes just as good too!

Not only that, but the fast-food chain is also bringing back two ‘fan-favourites’: The El Maco and the Cheesy Jalapeño Pops!

After its hiatus back in 2019, the El Maco burger is making another (very) welcome return to Macca’s menus across Australia. It comes with your choice of beef or chicken patties, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes – alongside chunky salsa and sour cream.

The Cheesy Jalapeño Pops – loved for being ‘crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – come with El Maco dipping sauce.

After a flurry (pun intended) of rumours filled the internet a couple of weeks ago, McDonald’s finally revealed that another fan-favourite dessert is coming back: The Caramilk Hokey Pokey McFlurry.

The sweet treat features Macca’s soft serve mixed with flakes of Cadbury Caramilk chocolate, Hokey Pokey pieces, and of course, Caramilk sauce.

These limited-edition menu items are back just in time for summer.

Tim Kenward, McDonald’s Australia’s Marketing Director, said: ‘Summer is about bringing people together and what better way to do that than by bringing together some of our most iconic menu and flavour combos?’

He is also inviting Aussies to ‘kick off’ their summer by trying these menu items since they might get sold out quickly.

‘Whatever your summer plans are, we’ve got you covered, because nothing quite goes together like the great Aussie summer and Macca’s.’

Not interested in new items apart from Caramilk McFlurry but I wish they would bring back the original caramel McFlurry it was the best ever!!!!!!

Wouldn't it be nice if the burger you bought actually looked like the one in the picture.
Instead you get some 1/4 pounder, whoops I mean 1/4 sizer squashed excuse for a burger and if you buy "fries"as well you can certainly bank on them being limp and soggy.
The perfect accompaniment for the matching burger.Wouldnt eat one if you bought it for me. Yuck!!!
