Mars Bar Slice

I've been making this for 25 years and has to be my family's favourite chocolate Bar.

This also makes a nice gift wrapped in cellophane with a ribbon eg for a neighbour

5 spread chocolate over Mars Bar/ rice bubble and set in fridge before cutting into slices

Notes : Tips to make a cheap slice
1. homebrand rice bubbles are perfect for this slice
2. Mars bars go on sale every couple of weeks either large bars or share packets. Wait until bars go on sale as well as the Cadbury blocks

Oh, I remember making that with my aunt when I was little. The recipe is a little different - hers used two Mars Bars, but she always cut an inch off the end of each, and we ate them. When I asked why, she said using the full bars made the slice a bit too sweet. When I asked why not keep the extra to use next time, she said we wouldn’t then have the pleasure of eating the extra bits. 🤣🤣 She was the aunt who taught me to cook, and I do miss her.

is this sugar free ???????? lol

I've been making Mars Bar slice for over 40 years....my recipe was 3 of everything....
3 Mars Bars,
3 Tablespoons butter
3 cups rice bubbles.
For the topping, I just use melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.

I used to add chopped sultanas for variety, looked good and tasted yummy.
My children loved taking this slice when they had to take a plate.
