How clean are your windows? I'm wondering if the magpies see their reflection in the window and don't like what they see. They may be thinking the reflection is "the enemy", my suggestion would be to "dirty" the window. Pin strip's of paper, material, gladwrap to the flywire where they like to pick. Good luck

Get a toy cat figure and tie it to the screen..

Hi, can you tie pieces of material in and around your screen door and perhaps the material pieces will flutter with the breeze and hopefully this will make the Magpies stay away?

Hang up 4 of the old cds with fishing line and watch the spinning cds frighten the birds away. It's the reflections that scare them.

There is pet screen mesh cheap at hardware stores like Bunnings mitre 10 $20.oo or less for more than enough to do a number of them also resistant to cats failing that sunshade cloth is stronger.Having said that keep food away from windows I roll into a ball small enough for them to fly with mine two warbling for feed the other is quite and all wanting to come inside but I have cats ( shade cloth is my pick )
