Luxury car brand revs up to the future with their latest concept vehicles

In the world of automobiles, innovation and design are the driving forces that capture everyone's attention.

One brand synonymous with luxury and style recently took a bold step that has set car lovers abuzz.

After unveiling a debatable rebrand, Jaguar teased the public with a glimpse of its future: an electric concept car.

Jaguar posted the new concept car on their social media accounts, which many described as 'brutalist'.

The structured design contrasted with the sleek lines and refined elegance traditionally associated with Jaguar vehicles.

The concept car will be fully revealed at Miami Art Week, which will take place on 3 December, Australian time, and could tease Jaguar's new direction for its upcoming high-end electric vehicles.

The image revealed a vehicle with sweeping lines, sharp edges, and sheer surfaces.

It also featured a closed-off rear windscreen and a massive silver grille on the rear fascia.

Jaguar's unconventional design choices for their new vehicles left many wondering if they would make it to the production line.

Jaguar's slogan, 'Copy Nothing', embodied this concept, which also signalled the brand's intention to break away from the pack.

Jaguar also released official 'spy photos' of their electric GT sedan.

Together, these developments suggested that Gerry McGovern and his design team wanted to introduce a new era of luxury vehicles.

Jaguar's rebranding emphasised the theme of 'Exuberant Modernism', as the brand drew parallels to the groundbreaking modernist art of Picasso and Mondrian.

The brand's new trajectory made waves, but spectators have yet to see if the upcoming Jaguars will achieve the iconic status similar to the 1963 E-Type.

Jaguar's electrification efforts were first announced in 2021 under the leadership of Thierry Bolloré.

The plan involved a significant shift and a commitment to an all-electric lineup.

As part of this transition, Jaguar has already phased out its existing models, with the F-Pace crossover to end production in 2026.

Jaguar's rebrand should introduce a large sedan, a large crossover, and a four-door GT that could rival the Porsche Taycan.

All three vehicles are expected to hit showrooms globally starting in 2026.

Jaguar's new vehicles could cost at a higher price point than the previous XJ.

While this could be a gamble, Jaguar seems confident that it will pay off as it seeks to redefine luxury in the electric age.

As we await the full reveal of Jaguar's electric concept, everyone is wondering whether this radical new design will be a hit or a miss.

How to destroy the history of a great Marque and envied looks in one easy lesson. Think again Jaguar before you disappear.
You are so right. My dad had a Jaguar when we lived in the UK. It was a distinctive head turner.
If a Jag passes me on the road these days l wouldn’t even know it was one.

I lived in Coventry where the jaguar was made originally and my brother-in-law worked there for many, many years. In fact, he started as an apprentice and worked his way through the different parts of the factory including being a test driver where he had to avoid the police on the highways because he had to drive the car flat out to test its ability at speed. He ended up on the Board for many years until his retirement. He could purchase a car at a discount and did so for his sister but never purchased a Jaguar for himself.

Way back in what now seems another life I worked at a Jag dealer and drove all types of new and older second hand Jags we sold as well, to give my age away the XJS was still sold as new. The V12 was something to drive. I can now only think with horror what it would cost to have 12 spark plugs installed as about half the engine had to be pulled apart for that so so much plumbing in the way.
Great cars to drive and the going joke back then was owning a Jag was great if one owns two as one will be off the road getting something fixed at anytime.

The stupidist ad I have seen this year belongs to Jaguar - they were so busy showing "glitterati wanna bes" that they forgot to put the car in the ad. Stupid is as stupid does. Oh well perhaps you may want to buy one of the "models"!

'They" are not made in china they are made all over the world they have 3 or 4 various factories in UK others in Brazil and a couple in Europe. and a joint one in China mainly for one of the Land Rovers.
