Posting on the popular Facebook group Kmart Hacks & Decor, the man from Perth has impressed thousands of other Aussies who are interested in doing their own home improvement projects as well.

The father shared his process on the post, saying that it only took him half an hour to assemble the storage solution, which consisted of four of the $22 open wardrobes with shelves that he purchased from Kmart. He also added some more decorations by putting in neon strip lights.
"I had a budget of less than $100 for an open wardrobe. Most sets cost between $200 and $300 if you shop at Ikea, Bunnings, Fantastic Furniture, and other stores," he wrote.
"I went to Kmart and purchased four of these for a total of $88."
To maximise his storage space and fit snug with the room, the father skilfully put the four hanging and shelving units together. The hanging compartments of two of the units were stacked on top of one another, and the shelves of the other two units were placed beneath them.
In the comments section, hundreds of fellow members from the Facebook group expressed their admiration for the man's creative wardrobe solution, saying that they're looking to try the DIY project as well.
"That looks amazing, we've started renovating again and I want to do something simple and open for storage in the bedroom, I love this," one user wrote below the post.
Another chimed in and added, "I was literally just trying to come up with a wardrobe! Thank you, and well done."
A third user praised the man's work as well, pointing out how inexpensive it is in comparison to purchasing ready-made wardrobes from major retailers, saying: "For $88, you can't argue with that!"
However, a fourth one commented and cautioned that people who are interested in trying the project should make sure that they do not exceed the allowed weight limit. Otherwise, the plastic connectors will crack and the shelves will end up falling.

No matter how big or small your closet is, and regardless of whether it's closed or not, making the most efficient use of your available space is a good idea.
Here are some suggestions for getting the most storage space out of your closet:
Use all the vertical hanging space.
Most clothing won't stretch from floor to ceiling when hung, so you can stack rods to double your hanging space.
To put it up, move your current rod up as high as you can while still being able to reach your clothes. Then, install a second rod beneath where the top rod's hanging clothing ends.
Add shelf dividers.
Limited shelf space can be organised with the aid of shelf dividers. They make clothing folding and stacking simpler, and they generally give the shelf a much cleaner appearance.
Store items in small bins and baskets.
Small clothing and accessory items can be kept neatly arranged by category in bins and baskets. Also, they are helpful to put on shelves that are hard to reach because you only have to grab the whole bin instead of having to reach around to find a certain item.
Move off-season items to storage containers.
Move your out-of-season clothes to storage bins to keep your closet functioning properly. By doing this, your closet will have more room for the clothing you wear frequently while keeping your off-season clothing organised and safe in the containers.
