Lift attendant

“Step back, please; the door is closing.”

Remember elevator operators back in the day? They were a common sight, working in shopping malls, hotels, and office buildings. They were in charge of operating the lifts, assisting passengers, and providing customer service. They were the epitome of style and sophistication, always dressed impeccably in their uniforms. If you asked them if they liked being a lift attendant, they would say, "It's okay. It has its ups and downs." This joke never fails to make us laugh!

My grandmother was a lift attendant, and she told me that there were a lot of funny adventures while she was working. Nowadays, we control everything with technology. Even lift maintenance services are so techy!

I totally agree with you - technology has come a long way, and it's amazing to see how it has impacted so many different industries. It's funny to think about how things used to be, like when your grandmother was a lift attendant! I'm sure she has plenty of stories to share. Speaking of lifts, I actually use Hin Chong Lift Maintenance Services for my office building. They do a great job with maintenance and repairs, and they definitely use the latest technology to ensure everything is running smoothly.

One of my first jobs after leaving school. Depth. of Education. Bridge St. Sydney & Woolworths in Park St. Sydney. Give myself a pat on the back, I got really good at stopping the lift perfectly level with the exit. Disappointed when they became automated.
