I really don't follow any particular one, If i have any spare change I'll give it to the first worthy cause so don't have a nominated charity but if you feel its warranted and gives you a laugh? and remember that part of it is true? lets just say the punchline was out of earshot usually. Years ago in the British Merchant Navy if you got logged for any offence it was as follows the logging had to be specific i.e late turn to, might be half hour, full hour and so forforth now for the actual logging you could only lose actual time involved? but some ratbag skippers could also fine you and that was the kicker as that could virtually be any amount and our monthly wages were in the toilet? The only thing that saved us was the overtime or (Ovies) Now the only saving grace of this was you could nominate the charity of your choice! Of the common unspoken request was that it go to the local home for unwed mothers? with the rationale being that it was a Bastard taking it off us! It may as well be a Bastard that gets it. Also two things reminded of this today, your article and an article about the dodgy tale of lies that this current PM resorted to, born one still one!!

There are numerous charities in need of funding. At this time I choose GIVIT as they give 100% of funding to the people in need.

I don't care which charity as long as they don't take a lot in admin costs. After the last floods I wanted to donate bedding but to my surprise you could only donate new bedding or money for it. If like us people are downsizing and getting rid of good furniture no-one wants and household goods why not offer to the flood victims.
They have to follow the law regarding health and safety. No-one is sorrier about this than the charities.

AUSTRALIAN ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY. This is a fantastic not for profit organisation that does so much for animals in need; rescuing them from awful situations such as puppy farms.

Indigenous Community Volunteers is a charity I have given to for many years. A boost to their funds would be so very muchly appreciated.
