Kmart officially launches new REWARDS PROGRAM - here's what you need to know

Loyalty programs are one of the many great perks of modern-day shopping. They provide consumers with an incentive to keep coming back to their favourite stores, and in turn, help businesses keep track of their best customers.

Most importantly, though, loyalty programs are a great way to save money on the products and services you use every day! And who doesn't love being rewarded?

Speaking of the best loyalty programs, what if we tell you that Kmart has recently launched a 'progressive' rewards program that not only rewards you for shopping at their stores but also allows you to access other loyalty programs from other retailers?

You read that right, folks! The retailer has officially announced the launch of its new rewards program called ‘OnePass’, in which customers can enrol to unlock free delivery and earn rewards.

The program was launched in stores around Australia on Thursday, bringing together a variety of big-name brands – Kmart, Target, Catch and Bunnings Warehouse – under a single loyalty program.

Subscribers can earn rewards and free delivery on thousands of eligible products or orders across the brands.

Customers can enrol in the program for just $4 a month – which equates to $40 a year – and they can start earning rewards and collecting ‘OnePass points’ as soon as they enrol.

OnePass boasts better value, convenience, and choice for its subscribers, making it easier for them to access more from the brands that they love.

The first 30 days of the program are a free trial, and customers are encouraged to sign up for the promo on the Kmart website.

Kmart Australia’s Chief Customer Officer Lil Velis-Bowker shared that OnePass is the retail giant’s way of increasing the overall value of shopping with them.

'We are thrilled to roll out OnePass to Kmart stores today, it is the next step for us in building an exciting new program that will offer our customers even more value when they shop with us,' the chief said.

'The launch of OnePass comes at a time when our customers are really valuing our commitment to low prices on the everyday items they need. The program provides customers with more relevant, convenient, and personalised ways of shopping with us.'

'We have plans to expand what we offer through OnePass in the near future. With new offers on the horizon and new partner brands joining the program the value to our customers will grow over time.'

I don’t drive so buy a lot of things online. I love Catch there’s so much there at good prices and the service is fantastic. I get all my pet things from there regularly and don’t pay for delivery. Then there’s Target, Kmart and now Bunnings so for $1 a week I’m already saving heaps on delivery fees. I have a big family and do all Christmas shopping so between sales and delivery charges I’m definitely in front.

I am a member and I love it. I bought multiple items from Catch and I got free postage. On one shop I saved $18.95 on postage. I shop online at all the sites that have One Pass. Win win for me.

Because not everybody uses flyby cards. I for one don't ever want to fly anywhere.
Flybys are not used just on flights. I have managed to accrue enough points to equate to $220, which I will be using for my Xmas food and possibly Xmas gifts too. I do the same with my Woolworths points , store them up all year to use at Xmas.

I think if you buy alot online from Kmart and the other suppliers and are paying for delivery, then the cost is very good. But for me I usually buy from Kmart, Bunnings stores direct and very rarely buy anything from Catch, so at the moment I won't be joining.

I looked at joining OnePass a few times, but found that not all items at Catch are covered by OnePass free delivery, will it be the same at KMart?
