Kmart kicks it up a notch with this Chanel ‘dupe' for only $22!

Shopping for trendy and stylish fashion shouldn't mean breaking the bank.

Step, quite literally, into the world of affordable fashion with a surprising find at Kmart that’s turning heads and causing a stir among fashionistas.

This latest discovery has sparked excitement among bargain hunters and trendsetters alike, offering a chic alternative to a high-end luxury brand at a fraction of the cost.

If you're a fashion lover yearning for the classic Chanel slingback pumps without wanting to spend a fortune, Kmart Australia might just have the solution for you.

One eagle-eyed shopper recently spotted a pair of heels in Kmart that bear a striking resemblance to the iconic $1,820 Chanel pumps, but are available for a surprising price of just $22.

The shopper shared a side-by-side comparison of the Kmart's beige Dress Slingback Block Heels ($22) and the Chanel Slingback—Goatskin & Grosgrain ($1,820), highlighting how both designs feature a block heel and a black toe box with a strap.

Although the Chanel heels sport a tiny logo on the side and lack the buckle found on the Kmart style, the similarities are, indeed, uncanny.

This affordable fashion quickly generated interest among people on social media.

The reactions, however, were quite divided. Some gushed and even noted that the Kmart shoes might be more comfortable; others remained sceptical about the quality and comfort of such inexpensive footwear.

‘Love!’ one comment said.

‘Probably more comfortable, too,’ replied another.

Some users tagged their friends to spread the comparison further, although some had doubts about the comfort level of the Kmart shoes.

‘Can't replace good quality shoes, and may give blisters,’ one said.

‘Imagine the blisters,’ another remarked.

‘No comparison,' a third commented.

‘I always buy good quality leather shoes,’ one replied.

Kmart is known partly for producing 'dupe' products that resemble pricier branded items.

In fact, this wasn't the first time Kmart had been observed replicating designer looks for less.

Last year, a shopper was astounded to spot a 'dupe' of a trending pair of Nike sneakers priced at just $25, which closely resembled a $270 model from the renowned brand.

They also have a ‘dupe’ of a high-end designer handbag, activewear from a designer brand, and exotic beauty products.

One individual even referred to Kmart as ‘Dupemart’ because of the abundance of ‘dupe’ products offered there.

Imitation if the most sincere form of flattery. Not sure when, the reference of: 'resemble' became the reference, they're knock offs. Pretty much the formula of all Aldi's products. Guarantee, those that know their brands know the difference. Not dis-similar to when cabbage patch dolls came out, kids soon knew to look for the birthmark and if it didn't have it they gave them back as fake knock offs.
