Kmart fans go wild over new holiday-themed organiser - is it really worth the hype?

Kmart is known for being a budget-friendly store that carries a wide variety of items. But what many shoppers don't know is that Kmart also carries a lot of great storage solutions - like this Wrapping Paper Storage unit that fits perfectly into a spare room wardrobe.

One eagle-eyed shopper shared how she spotted the new item while shopping at her local Kmart store and decided to nab one so she could try using it.

Sharing on a popular Facebook group, the customer said that the handy product is not only good for use during the holiday season.

She wrote: 'Kmart always seems to have a bunch of stuff I never knew I needed until I found it - including this Wrapping Paper Storage that fits wonderfully into my spare room wardrobe.'

'Highly recommend and won’t be used just for Christmas but all year round!'

This storage unit is perfect for not just wrapping paper, but for any number of things that you might need to store away. And at just $10, it's a great deal.

The post has captured the attention of more than 800 group members, who expressed their keenness to get their hands on the item.

One user shared: 'I need one for Christmas or birthday bags. I have way too many.'

'I recycle to family members each year but then we end up with more.'

Another wrote: 'Oh my gosh, this would be super handy!'

'Well this is a game changer,' said a third.

Some took the opportunity to ask whether the bag is sturdy enough to hold objects that are heavier than wrapping papers.

'Is it sturdy? I bought one similar from Kmart last year that goes under the bed and the fabric ripped,' one user claimed.

'Is it made out of that breathable fabric?'

The question prompted the original user to reply, saying: 'The grey fabric is the same as the enviro bags you get from Woolworths so may perish over time, but should hold up better in the wardrobe (rather than under a bed).'

Others commended Kmart for its new range of holiday-themed items.

One woman wrote: 'I just purchased one and also got a new tree, one with an extra bag to put your lights in. Loving the storage stuff they come up with.'

'Kmart always seems to know what we want before we do,' another joked.

One person confirmed that many shoppers are nabbing the item.

'Thanks to this post I went and bought one at Kmart Dubbo yesterday. There were about 10 there but I know a friend has bought one since. I might need a second!' one comment read.

For those of you who are looking to get your hands on this item, some customers said that while they are available from time to time online, it may be best to check out your local store as the items sometimes go out of stock.

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the pressure to spend money on gifts, decorations, and festive foods. For some people, this can be a difficult time of year financially.

Some people are not comfortable forking out money for holiday items because they feel like they can only use them for a few weeks and this is understandable.

In light of this, some holiday-themed goods, like the wrapping paper organiser from Kmart that we just showed you, can be utilised all year long. It is still best to plan your purchases carefully and have an open mind about how else you might use them creatively even when the holidays are over.

So, there you have it, folks! Will you give this new item a try? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!

Seeing as one whole drawer in my chest of drawers has been taken over by wrapping paper (I think it breeds when I'm not looking) I need one or two of these things in my life.:)
