A mum of six received praise and admiration from her fellow campers on social media when she posted photos of her family's impressive camping setup, which they had assembled using only budget-friendly items from various retail stores.
In a Facebook group for outdoor camping enthusiasts, mum Johanna showed off her family's setup, which included a gazebo from Autobarn, a BCF tent, 'deluxe' air mattresses and kitchen supplies from Kmart.
Johanna and her family have a long tradition of spending a few weeknights every month camping outdoors, so naturally, they were looking for a complete camping setup that would not only be simple to put together but also pretty easy to take down in a hurry.
Of course, it also had to be reasonably priced and fit inside their budget!

What are the items included in their camping setup?
A camping setup isn't complete without a trusty air mattress, and they found one at Kmart for $89.
The Deluxe Queen Air Mattress makes sure you get a good night's sleep with its soft foam surface and sturdy Y-beam construction, which makes it more comfortable and stable.
It is also made with a high-speed, built-in 240V pump that makes inflating and deflating it fast and easy.
The product also garnered a fantastic 4.8-star rating from more than a hundred buyers who left reviews on the Kmart website. It's safe to say that it's up there in the nice category!

Both BCF and Autobarn also have a good selection of canopies, tents, and gazebos to choose from.
From BCF, one of the most popular options is the Wanderer Gazebo Inner Room Kit which can be purchased for $219.99. Meanwhile, tents and gazebos can be purchased at Autobarn for a starting price of $149.
In the comments section of Johanna's post on Facebook, several of her fellow campers in the group commended her for the setup. Others even offered their own helpful recommendations to make her family's outdoor experience more enjoyable!
One person wrote, 'Excellent start. My suggestions are a tarp for the entire roof if it rains and mink blankets underneath you when you sleep if it's cold. Enjoy!'
The total cost of the setup was just $500, making it very affordable for families. Credit: Facebook.
In addition to the queen-size air mattress, Kmart has recently released a number of other affordable camping items, such as a portable camping kitchen, LED solar lantern, 7-piece dinner set, and camp toaster.
With the camp kitchen, which costs $69, and the camp toaster, which costs $5, campers are able to set up a kitchen and prepare meals virtually anywhere.
For $4, the store also sells a two-pack of 'food tents' that keep insects away from food. For $159, customers can buy a two-room tent that can fit eight people.
Add a little picnic table for $13, a power inverter for $39, and a portable barbeque or campfire grill for $25 to complete the whole outdoor setup.
So, folks, if you want to do something fun with your family when they come to visit, why not go camping? We're sure you'll all have a great time. We hope these recommendations help!
