I made my own breakfast this morning, my 63-year-old informed me that Mother's Day meant I should wait on him because, after all, he made me a mother. Years ago when my boys were 6 and 7 they asked what I would like for my Mother's Day breakfast. I asked for a cup of tea and toast and jam, and that's exactly what I got, no butter on the toast!
